Rodin Motorsport’s Piotr Wisnicki takes his turn dreaming up his ideal race weekend, and we head to the streets of Singapore.
Under the bright lights around the Marina Bay Circuit, Wisnicki tinkers with the race weekend schedule and brings weather in to play to make an already challenging track even more treacherous.
Here is what he came up with…
WHERE WOULD THE RACE BE HELD?
“I think I would choose Singapore. It’s a cool track and very tough.”
DAY OR NIGHT RACE?
“I would keep it as a night race, Singapore looks very cool on the TV.”
WET OR DRY RACE?
“I think it would be cool that it starts in the dry but then ends up in the wet. It’s a good challenge to make it a bit more difficult around some parts of the track.”
WHAT TYRES WOULD YOU BRING?
“For sure I would change it to two Practice sessions rather than just one. I would also add two sets of tyres to what we already have and then I’d keep Qualifying and Races the same.
“In Free Practice I’d have us use Mediums, do Qualifying on the Softs and then the race goes back to Mediums, and then onto Wets obviously.”

WHO WOULD YOU INVITE AS YOUR CELEBRITY GUESTS?
“How many can I invite? I’m not big on celebrities but Leo Messi. Somebody from Poland, Robert Lewandowski. Joanna Jedrzejczyk, she was a UFC fighter in the past and then maybe Conor McGregor.”
WHO WOULD DO MUSIC ACROSS THE WEEKEND?
“This is tough… To be honest, when I’m driving away from the track, I’m listening to pop music on the radio. When I’m in the gym I’m listening to music without any singing. Let me check my playlists. I would choose AC/DC. Katy Perry maybe? And then Pitbull.”
WHAT WOULD THE PODIUM LOOK LIKE?
“I think I would keep the podium as it already is. It looks pretty cool with the LED lights and boards everywhere.”
WHAT WOULD THE TROPHIES LOOK LIKE?
“I have no idea… I don’t remember how the trophies look in Singapore. But maybe I’d do something with glass trophies? Light goes through them so they’re bright and then make them the outline of the track. Then it has the numbers from first to third in the middle of them.”
ANYTHING ELSE?
“I’d have huge fireworks after the race. Once the last lap is done, there would be a big, big fireworks display. But I think the rest is alright.”
