Waterman 452 1/2 V Sterling Silver Overlay fountain pen in SMOOTH STERLING

Description

Offered for sale is a Waterman 452 1/2 V sterling overlay ring-top fountain pen in the rare and desirable smooth pattern, ca. 1928.
This is in much better than average condition with no major dings, dents, cracks, fleabites, repaired cracks, gouges, or other common defects in the smooth overlay. There is some overall surface wear as shown in the photos. There are nicely engraved initials on the cap as shown in the photos.
The pen is restored with a new sac and has been ultrasonically cleaned. The nib is a nice medium Waterman #2 with decent semi-flex and nice line variation.
