ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Up for auction is a neat and
large
vintage, original, metal
Judaica pinback button
that features the
Star of David
over a black eye patch on a
Smiley face
. Possibly modeled after the famous Israeli political and military leader
Moshe Dayan
, who wore a black eye patch. It was put out by the
United Jewish Appeal (U.J.A.)
, which is also marked on the side of the button. Measures 2 1/4" across. In excellent condition with just a few tiny rubs to the outer edges.
