The devotional articles I offer are antique or vintage.
At one time, they were revered, but came to me within listings lots of jewelry; as a result, I do not know their personal history.
I am offering them in order they may return to respectful new owners.
This bar pin with two sided medal does not have a designation mark or metal fineness mark but it has the artist signature on each side.
The light silver tone metal appears to be aluminium.
On the back of the bar there are two clasps, one could hold a ribbon.
The pin and medal is highlighted by raised design.
The medal features the representation of Mary cradling Jesus.
It states with raised lettering, Most Sorrowful Heart of Mary Have Pity on Us and Our Children.
On the reverse there is a representation of Saint Joseph with Jesus as a child.
It states, St. Joseph Powerful Intercessor Pray For Us and Our Children.
The medal dangles from the center of the bar.
The bar is approximately 1 3/4 inches by approximately 1 1/4 inches, medal is approximately 1 7/8 inches by approximately 1 3/8 inches at the widest points.
