SQUARE DANCE SKIRT.
This dressy black satin square dance skirt is a stay-crisp fabric that came from a crowded closet and shows no wrinkles.  It is professionally and carefully made with no raw edges at all, though there are no labels.
The bottom border of this skirt has a simple 4+-inch ruffle of the same satin fabric.  The skirt is nicely gored with a fixed waist, that has about 10 inches in the back with a bit of elastic give at the waist.  This will keep from adding bulk at the waist and hips that you might have with a gathered style.  There is a 9 inch zipper in back.
This skirt could easily be dressed for a special dance - like New Year's Eve - with a silver, black, or white petticoat, black or white blouse and sparkly rhinestone accessories.  Even a rhinestone or sequin belt would really stand out!   As nice a skirt as any you see on Ebay  -  that 'little black skirt' everyone needs!
These pictures were taken in a South-facing window in bright daylight. This allows you to see the sewing detail on the skirt.   The fabric reflects the light, showing off the shiny satin - but, do NOT think that there is any fading of this fabric!   It is a black black.  The last picture is the underside so you can see the professional seam finishing.

Waist:    30+ inches   (I guess that's a S/M?)
Length:  21.5 inches (below waistband).
This skirt will dress up glamorously with a matching blouse & petticoat of ANY color!   A red petticoat or a shade of purple, gold, turquoise, or blue will go nicely under it, depending on the blouse you pair it with!  Then throw on your fanciest belt!  You could pair it with orange to create a Halloween outfit!  Or maybe purple & green for Mardi Gras!  This can be quite a flexible skirt allowing you to create your own 'look'.
It is crisp and well cared for.
