Ethnic Clothing Thai Child’s 2pc Outfit Hill Tribe Vintage

Ethnic Thai Child’s 2 pc. outfit. Condition is "New", never worn.
Most likely a size 2T or 3T.  "28" is on the label.
Jacket style top has silver buttons, 11" wide shoulder, 13" body width.  Appliqued along front opening,
edge of short sleeves and trim around jacket as pictured.  5" slits on either side of jacket
Shorts have 16" elastic waist, 10" length.
I bought this when we lived in Thailand in 1970's at the market in Chiang Mai.
A good example of the handicraft of the Hill Country women, Hmong, Lao, Akha, Lahu, etc.  Their clothing, designs,
embroidery, show their association with a specific tribe.  Much of this great talent is being lost as the area becomes
modernized.
