WOW - WHAT AN AMAZING FIND! This is a Rare Antique that I am thrilled to offer my customers!
Circa Qing Dynasty, Late 18th/ early 19th Century CHINESE Jade Malachite &  Garnet(?) Gilded Bronze Belt Buckle
featuring gorgeous Jade, Malachite and Garnet (I believe) stones.
The polished stones are chunky pieces set in gilded bronze decorated with highly desirable bat design.  When an adornment incorporates a bat design, it is said to be a wish for blessings and happiness.
Chinese robes had no pockets and belts (Chao Dai), created of tightly woven silk, were worn closely belted over the robe.
The quality of the Buckle would indicate the  status of the wearer and the genuine jade, malachite and garnet stones reflected high social standing. The belt would have a range of items hung from it such as fan cases, fragrance purses and tobacco or snuff bottle pouches.

Ebay has changed their return policies and forced me to do the same.  I am therefore no longer able to offer returns. All sales will be Final. Of course, I stand behind my merchandise.  As as hard as I try to describe any flaw, if I have overlooked something I will work diligently with you to rectify so you are happy in the end.  For my International customers, I will use Global Shipping Program wherever possible. The GSP quotes the shipping costs on each listing.  I cannot see these costs on my end as it is customized by the GPS depending on which Country you are accessing Ebay from.  In most cases, customs duty is quoted/estimated by Ebay in the shipping costs.  Understand that customs duty is ALWAYS the responsibility of the Buyer.  I will combine as many items as I can fit in one package for a discounted combined shipping price.
Since the majority of my listings are BUY IT NOW, payment is expected at time of purchase, unless you are continuing to shop.  In that instance, all items must be paid for together on one invoice so that you can take advantage of combined shipping discounts, and payment must be made within 3 days or item will be relisted and non-payment will be reported
