Alumilite Thixotropic Additive - 4oz

Description

Add small amounts of Alumilite's Thixotropic Additive (max recommended is .5%) to Alumilite's mixed silicone rubbers to increase the viscosity in order to make brush on molds or blanket molds. The Thixotropic Additive does not shorten the work time. It only increases the viscosity in order to build thickness/layers or even brush onto vertical surfaces such as rock walls, sculptures, theatrical/prop pieces, etc. Add small amounts, mix, and repeat process until desired viscosity/thickness is desired in your mixed Alumilite silicone rubbers.
