Vintage Stamp Dispensing Machine<br>10¢ and 6¢ USPS Postage Stamps<br>For sale is one (1) vintage US Postage Stamps table top dispenser. Dispenses both .06 and .10 cent stamps.<br>We know very little about this dispenser. According to Wikipedia,  first class stamps were .06 cents in 1968. Research shows that this dispenser would more than likely have been at the counter of the local drug store, hotel, mass transit station or diner. This dispenser takes quarters, selling two 10 cent stamps for a quarter or three 6 cent stamps for a quarter.<br>The machine is empty of stamps, there are a few quarters inside as we have tested to see if things are working. The left side slot is working, accepting quarters and allowing the left side handle to rotate. The right side slot is not working. The first quarter we inserted wend down into the machine but the harm did not rotate to accept the quarter. The second quarter inserted when in, but did not clear the first, so the right side slot is jammed.<br>This dispenser is in un-restored condition, an excellent candidate to get working as a nice working display piece. There is no key for the lock on the top, but the lock is intact, not drilled out. The copper colored plastic piece that covers the front has two broken corners at the bottom.
